Two Base Systems. Same Professional Result.

High-Build Industrial Epoxy. Professional Finish.

Our Epoxy Solid Color System combines a high-build tinted epoxy base coat with a silica sand broadcast and UV-stable polyaspartic topcoat. This creates a textured, slip-resistant surface with excellent durability, chemical resistance, and easy maintenance — ideal for customers looking for a cost-effective, durable concrete coating installed with industrial-grade materials.

Epoxy offers exceptional chemical and abrasion resistance at a cost-effective price point. The high-build formula penetrates and bonds directly to prepared concrete, creating a solid foundation that performs under demanding daily use.

⚗️

Chemical Resistant

Resists oil, solvents, de-icers, and most shop chemicals.

🏗️

High-Build Formula

Thick base coat penetrates and bonds directly to concrete.

🧹

Easy to Maintain

Seamless surface — sweep and mop, no scrubbing required.

🦺

Slip Resistant

Sand broadcast creates texture and optional OSHA-level traction.

☀️

UV-Stable Top

Polyaspartic topcoat won't yellow or degrade under UV exposure.

💰

Cost Effective

Premium result at a competitive price point for residential and commercial projects.

Fast-Curing. Flexible. Built for Minnesota.

Our Polyurea Solid Color System combines a flexible tinted polyurea base coat with a silica sand broadcast and UV-stable polyaspartic topcoat. This system is ideal for projects requiring increased flexibility, fast cure times, and superior resistance to temperature swings and heavy use — engineered for demanding residential and commercial environments.

Polyurea offers excellent flexibility that allows the coating to move with concrete during Minnesota’s freeze-thaw cycles without cracking or peeling. Rapid cure times mean faster return to service, and the system handles temperature extremes that would stress an epoxy-only base.

🌡️

Temperature Flexible

Handles Minnesota freeze-thaw cycles without cracking or lifting.

Fast Cure Times

Rapid return to service — faster than traditional epoxy systems.

💪

Superior Flexibility

Flexes with concrete movement — won't crack or delaminate over time.

🛡️

Impact Resistant

Absorbs impact better than rigid epoxy — ideal for heavy-use environments.

☀️

UV-Stable Top

Polyaspartic topcoat ensures lasting color and surface integrity.

🦺

Slip Resistant

Sand broadcast provides optional traction at your chosen level.

Proper Preparation. That's the Foundation.

Every project begins with proper surface preparation — it is the single most critical factor in long-term coating performance. We use professional equipment and follow ICRI standards on every installation, no exceptions.

Diamond Grinding — Lavina Elite 30"

We use a Lavina Elite 30" planetary grinder — a commercial-grade machine that achieves a consistent ICRI CSP-2 concrete surface profile across the entire floor. This opens the concrete pores for maximum mechanical adhesion.

ICRI CSP-2 Surface Profile

Our goal on every project is an ICRI (International Concrete Repair Institute) Concrete Surface Profile of CSP-2 — the specific profile required for proper adhesion of industrial coating systems. No shortcuts.

Polyaspartic Topcoat

VOC-free, high-gloss clear coat. 100% UV stable — won't fade, yellow, or chalk whether installed indoors or in direct sunlight. Provides the final seal and surface hardness.

Crack, Pit & Damage Repair

All concrete cracks, pits, and surface damage are professionally repaired using appropriate concrete repair methods before any coating is installed — creating a smooth, properly fortified surface ready for coating.

Common Questions

What's the difference between the epoxy and polyurea solid color systems?

Both systems use the same three-layer approach — base coat, sand broadcast, and polyaspartic topcoat. The difference is the base coat material. Epoxy offers excellent chemical and abrasion resistance at a cost-effective price. Polyurea adds flexibility and faster cure times, making it better suited for environments with temperature extremes or heavy impact. Chad will recommend the right system for your specific situation.

ICRI stands for International Concrete Repair Institute. CSP (Concrete Surface Profile) is a standardized scale from 1–10 that measures the roughness of a prepared concrete surface. CSP-2 is the specific profile required for industrial coating systems to achieve their full rated adhesion. Without it, the coating is essentially sitting on top of the concrete rather than bonding to it — which is why cheaper DIY kits fail.

Matte and satin are the most popular for garages and commercial spaces — they look clean and professional without showing every scuff or footprint. Gloss is preferred for showroom-quality finishes where maximum visual impact is the goal. Chad will show you samples of each at your consultation so you can choose in person.

Why do you use a Lavina Elite 30" grinder?

The Lavina Elite is a commercial-grade planetary diamond grinder — one of the best machines in the industry for achieving a consistent, even CSP-2 concrete surface profile. Smaller or lower-quality grinders leave an inconsistent profile that reduces coating adhesion. We invested in professional equipment because proper prep is non-negotiable.

The swatches shown represent standard color options. Custom color matching is also available — if you have a specific color in mind, bring us a paint chip, hex code, or color reference and we can work with our manufacturer to find the closest match. Chad discusses color options during your free consultation and can bring physical samples to your home.

The solid color system uses a tinted base coat to create a uniform single-color floor — no decorative chips are broadcast. The result is a clean, seamless appearance without the speckled texture of a chip system. If you prefer a more uniform, minimal look over the multi-tone character of a chip blend, solid color is the right choice.
