Hydro Epoxy Option for High-Moisture Slabs

Not every slab is dry. For concrete with elevated moisture levels, we offer a Hydro Epoxy upgrade using a professional moisture vapor barrier primer applied before the coating system. This option handles up to 25 lbs of moisture vapor emission (MVE), compared to the standard 8 lbs, making it the right choice for basements, slabs on grade, and any concrete that tests high for moisture.

The primer bonds directly to damp or green concrete, creating a sealed barrier that prevents moisture from pushing up through the coating and causing adhesion failure. It meets ASTM F3010 requirements and is available in a 100% solids or water-based formula depending on project conditions.

If moisture is a concern on your slab, ask Chad about this upgrade during your free consultation.

The 3-Part Epoxy System — Layer by Layer

Every layer in this system serves a specific purpose. Understanding what goes into the floor explains why it outperforms every alternative.

Why Every Layer Matters

Each layer is engineered to work with those above and below it. Skipping or rushing any step is why cheaper coatings fail prematurely.

The Topcoat

The final protective seal — provides UV stability, gloss, and surface hardness. Without a proper topcoat, the system degrades rapidly from UV exposure and abrasion.

The Color / Decorative Layer

Whether chips, stone, metallic pigment, or Medici texture — this layer provides the aesthetic character of the floor. Broadcast into the wet base for maximum bond.

The Base Coat

The structural core of the system. Provides the primary adhesion, flexibility, and chemical resistance that defines the coating's long-term performance.

Diamond Grinding Prep

The most critical step — and the one most often skipped by inferior installers. Commercial diamond grinders open concrete pores to CSP 2–3 for a mechanical bond that won't lift or peel.

Ideal Applications

🚗

Garage Floors

The most common application — handles hot tires, salt, oil, and everything a garage can throw at it.

🏠

Basement Floors

Moisture-resistant and flexible — perfect for rec rooms, home gyms, and finished basements.

☀️

Patio & Exterior

UV-stable coating holds up in direct sunlight without fading or yellowing year after year.

🏢

Commercial Floors

Heavy-duty performance for warehouses, shops, and high-traffic commercial environments.

Common Questions

How long does installation take?

Most residential installations are completed in a single day. We arrive, complete all prep and grinding, apply the full coating system, and are finished the same day. You can walk on it in 4–6 hours.

Our products are ultra-low to zero VOC, meaning minimal odor during and after installation. The cured floor is completely safe for families and pets.

Yes — crack and pit repair is included in our standard installation process. We use premium polyurea fillers to repair all surface defects before applying the coating system.

Do you offer a warranty?

Yes. We offer product and installation warranties on all our coating systems. Ask Chad during your free consultation for specific warranty details on your chosen system.

Simply sweep or blow off debris, then mop with a neutral cleaner and warm water. Avoid harsh acidic or alkaline cleaners. The sealed surface means spills wipe up easily and won’t stain.

Chad visits your property, assesses the concrete condition, walks you through all your options, brings physical samples so you can see them in person, and provides a detailed custom quote — all at zero cost or obligation.
